Apparently this is a “thing” as there are multiple manufacturers of this car tent umbrella gadget. I have yet to see one of these car tent things in the real world. For around $239 you can have a remote controlled umbrella for your car. You simply put it on the roof of your car, hit the button on the remote, watch it unfold, then strap it down. Or you could buy a car cover for $20. I’m just saying.
